Abstract

In this paper, we study the approximate biprojectivity and the pseudo-contractibility of certain semigroup algebras and their second dual. In particular, we study the approximate biprojectivity of $l^1(S)^{**}$, where $S$ is a semigroup. In continuation, we give some examples that show that some of the existing results in the literature are not correct as presented, and in addition, we provide more modifications.
